Udaipur - Kumbalgarh Trip

It was an unplanned trip to Udaipur, which is also known as the City of Lakes. 

It was a bright sunny morning of 26th April, 2019. Landed at the airport, took a cab and went to the hotel Oberoi Udaivilas. It is nearly a 5 star property. This is how amazing the property looks like

The Hotel also gives the boating option through which we can actually take a tour of the huge property.

After lunch, it was time to explore the city a bit before heading to Kumbalgarh. The beautiful roads are a star attraction of the place.

Finally it was time to visit Lake Pichola, one of the famous things in Udaipur.

The place is open 7 days a week and the entry is free. The Boating charges are Rs 400 for Adults and Rs 200 for Children.

Named after the nearby village Picholi, Lake Pichola is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Udaipur. Flanked by islands, palaces, temples, mansions, ghats and restaurants, Lake Pichola offers something for everyone. The enchanting views of sunrise and sunset from the lake is something that should not be missed by anyone visiting the lake.

After this Kumbalgarh was the next destination. 

It was my Friend's birthday, so we all decided to go to Keya Valley Resort which is situated in the outskirts of village Kanuja.

The people of Rajasthan and their hospitality cannot be matched. Whatever they do, they do it with their heart. Even if they serve a glass of water, it would be with utmost love.

The place has a great and unmatched vibe. The place is away from the hustle of the town and is mesmerising. It was a short and pleasant stay at the western part. 

The resort is a must visit place for all.
